CSSA also has set up a mailing list for CSSA's event announcement. The mailing list works as an alternative for Bulletin Board System (BBS), but we suggest you to use BBS for your information exchange since BBS is much faster.
How to Join/Leave/Post to the mailing list
Via E-mail:
- To subscribe the mailing list, please send email to listserv@listserv.tamu.edu with content "sub TAMU-CCN firstname lastname"
- To unsubscribe the mailing list, send email to listserv@listserv.tamu.edu with content "signoff TAMU-CCN"
"How does it work?" (the short explaination) - Each list is actually a dummy e-mail address that the LISTSERV server checks for incoming mail. When Listserv finds some e-mail for a list, it processes that e-mail according to the list header keywords that you have defined. In most cases, that mail message is then sent to all the 'subscribers' of that list.
